Our objective

The people we work with are all visionary in their field. They are passionate about their ideas and their personal commitment to bringing discoveries to the clinic is very strong.

Starting a company, however, generally means that the founder has to put a disproportionate amount of time in non-core activities. In the case of scientists this distracts them to a large extent from their research activities.

In addition, scientists often have not been trained to write business plans, create development strategies and raise funds required to transform their plans into a professional development setting. Add to this the hassle that comes with running a company - legal matters, administration, accounting, etc, and it is clear why many scientists don’t take the step towards entrepreneurship.

It is our objective to create a setting in which scientists can remain focused on research while, at the same time, providing the business foundation and expertise for successful development of technologies into clinically applicable products.
